Some recent projects

I attended a crop a couple of weekends ago and was able to complete several projects.  Here are some that should qualify for the "framed" challenge.

Payson at 3 months

I was able to complete several pages yesterday.  All are of Payson at 3 months.  Some are for my album and some are for the family album.  The pages for Payson's album aren't done yet.

The pages for my album use Club Scrap's Orient Express kit and QuicKutz Mademoiselle font.

The pages for the family album use Club Scrap's Tribal kit (with cutouts!) and QuicKutz Exotic Island font.

As I was putting the pages in albums I realized that I didn't use my chunkey monkey stamp.  Almost all of the pages I've done for him in the past have had that stamp someplace on the page because that was his nickname.  This particular set of photos is out of order because I misunderstood that I was supposed to print the photos from the disk myself.

Hunter at 5 - AGAIN!

I believe these are my last pages for Hunter at 5.  These are for Hunter's album.

Club Scrap Boot Camp - Die Cuts Week

If nothing else at least I'm learning how to more easily post here.   Hunter's Kindergarten year for the family album using Club Scrap's Cape Cod collection and my QuciKutz Star alpha.  Only the first two pages qualify for having used die cuts, but the 3rd one goes with them so I'm posting it here also.

Magnetic Memo Board

I started this at Club Scrap Retreat last October.  I followed directions very carefully and made sure the holes lined up before putting on the glue.  Then I put the glue where it was supposed to go and flipped one piece while attaching them together.  As a result my hanging holes no longer lined up.  But worst of all was the fact the one showing on the front couldn't be punched all the way through because of the metal sheet.  The sandwiched boards were too thick for my cropadile. So I had to dig out my Japanese screw punch to repunch holes in the correct place.  It was an effort!

The heart is covering the hole in the wrong place!  The magnets for it are drying on my metal table.  I'm going to shop for some magnetic tape so I can use the rectangular cut-outs that came with the kit.

Club Scrap Boot Camp Week 2

The challenge this week was torn paper.  I'm not a big fan of torn paper on my pages because I can never get the look I'd like.  I tried using my torn paper ruler from Stampin' Up and didn't like the results.  I think it probably works better on lighter weight paper.  So for the most part I tore along the side of my acrylic ruler for the photo mats.

These pages are of Hunter at 5 for the family album.  I used Club Scrap's Cape Cod collection.  Guess which clothes Mom chose and which Hunter picked out for himself.
